The Audit Services of VICTO National was established four (4) decades ago. The Audit services includes Financial, Performance, Management, Systems and Social Audit. The Audit provides credibility to the organization by examining the evidence that underlies the information provided with concrete recommendations based on the findings. 

A Financial Audit performs a necessary function of assuring that a cooperatives not only is being truthful in its financial reporting but also that the cooperatives operations are working as intended. An audit is an independent evaluation of the cooperatives or organizations financial records to make sure that the statements are a fair and accurate representation of the organization's financial position. An accounting audit does not only examine whether a cooperative's financial statements are accurate, but it also tests that the cooperatives systems are operating as they should. 

A Performance Audit is an independent assessment of a cooperative operation to determine if specific programs or functions are working as intended to achieve stated goals. Performance audits are typically associated with governance and leadership at all levels as most cooperative officers’ focus on attending meetings. 

A performance audit is designed to examine the efficiency and effectiveness of a program, with the goal of implementing improvements. According to Generally Accepted Good Governance Standards (GAGGS), the term "program" can include cooperatives businesses, activities, programs, and functions. 

The goal is to evaluate the performance of stated programs to determine their effectiveness and make changes if needed. The scope of a performance audit varies, but usually includes an assessment of effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with legal requirements. 

A Management Audit is an analysis and assessment of the competencies and capabilities of a cooperative management in carrying out organizations objectives. The purpose of a management audit is not to appraise individual executive performance but to evaluate the management team in its effectiveness to work in the interests of shareholders, maintain good relations 

with employees, and uphold reputational standards


Consultancy Department of VICTO National continuously taking its role in doing its consultancy activities for its member cooperatives. 

The consultancy department also contributed in serving the coop affiliates by implementing the AXIS Program in compliance with the CISA Law and successfully launched a series of workshops to assist cooperatives in partnership with the CIC and CIBI. These were participated by 105 cooperatives from all over the country with almost 300 pax in attendance. 

Aside from these, the department was able to close contracts with coops and conducted consultancy activities and training events for coop BODs, officers and management and staff, coop visits with product orientations, consultative meetings, advisory service on cooperative governance and management, cooperative planning, on-the-job coaching and policy review and manualization activities. 

The consultancy department also continued its support with other departments in conducting trainings and providing assistance to cooperatives in various areas of development.
