Over the years, Cooperatives evolved. It grown bigger and bigger putting up branches

everywhere. Thus, VICTO National’s concern is on how to make sure that the Co-op

investment become viable in running the branches wherein the Cooperatives failed to

develop and prepare their staff to assume the responsibility. Sad to note, the Co-op

business operation incurred losses and affects our bottomline.

However, your Federation has an appropriate solution to aaddress these matters. We

offer a program called

COOPERATIVE MANAGER’S CAREER

DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (CMDP)

Course starts on August 2025 – March 2026

at Bacolod City/Iloilo City

Registration Fee: P 85,000 (whole course duration)

Inclusions: Training kits, Course Coat and Bag, Training Certificate, Meals and

Accommodation)

At the end of the Eight (8) module/sessions, the participants must be able to:

1. Develop a systematic career development program for Managers to improve their

competencies as Managers of their respective offices;

2. Operationalize a “ladderized” training and coaching/mentoring continuum that is

responsive to the needs of the Managers (existing and potential) in the performance of

their functions;

3. Organize and develop a Pool of Co-op Managers, Trainers and Consultants to

encourage generation and sharing of management skills and knowledge within the

network;

4. Ensure participants of this program have developed the attitude and acquired the

necessary knowledge and skills to effectively and efficiently manage their Cooperatives

towards competitiveness, sustainability and resiliency.

GREETINGS IN THE SPIRIT OF SOLIDARITY & FESTIVITY!

2025 was declared by the United Nation as the International year of Cooperatives. It aims to encourage public participation and awareness about cooperatives, its importance in nation building and its contributions to sustainable economic development.

Thus, VICTO National religiously adhere and celebrate as its customary practice of commemorating the Cooperative Month activity called “KO-OPIYESTA” believing in the power of cooperation in its simplest form it articulates as a process of working together.

This traditional event is the culmination of a yearly cooperative month celebration. This gathering will be a more interesting and memorable one as we welcome the new member of the VICTO Family, the new member-affiliates. Hence, we do expect and encourage your active participation and continued patronage to make this event a great success. The theme for this year is “Cooperatives Build a Better World”.

Once again, we shall be expecting the presence of your officers, staff and members to join this get-together. Please come prepared for any special number that you can share during the party!
